William Eldrenkamp has established himself as one of Arizona's premier golf coaches. Based at The Legacy Golf Performance Center, William pairs elite-level certifications with a conversation-first coaching style built to help every player — from first-time beginners to accomplished competitors — achieve both their swing-mechanic and scoring goals.

William's relationship with the game began the moment he could walk, introduced to golf by his father, Stephen, at Ottumwa Country Club in Ottumwa, Iowa. A strong junior career carried him to Indian Hills Community College in 2009. After a brief chapter working outside of golf, he returned to his passion, graduating from the Golf Academy of America in Chandler, Arizona, in April 2017 and beginning his teaching career at Dobson Ranch before joining The Legacy Golf Performance Center in 2018.

His method is evidence-based, fully individualized, and rooted in open dialogue. Every lesson starts with an honest conversation — what the player wants to feel, what they want to build, and ultimately what they want to shoot — and ends with clear, practical tools the student can take straight to the course.

That commitment to clarity is backed by some of the industry's most respected credentials: Jacobs 3D Ambassador, Scott Cowx Certified, Trackman 4 Certified, TPI Certified, and US Kids Certified Coach.

William practices what he teaches in his own game, believing that living the process is the only way to truly guide another player through it.
